You simply increase your posted price to include the processing cost and then offer an equivalent discount to customers that pay cash. The posted credit price offsets the cost of processing the transaction. When a customer pays with a credit card, our technology recognizes the price increase and applies it to your processing fees. If they pay with cash, they get your original price.
It's very simple. You would increase your posted prices by 3-4%. If the customer pays with a credit card, they pay the posted price. Customers that pay with cash, are rewarded with a price that is 3-4% lower. We apply the increase towards your processing fees to offset your cost and increase your margins. Our point-of-sale technology completely automates this for you.
Your merchant statement will reflect a discount rate that is equivalent to your price increase. We subtract that discount rate from your daily batch which completely offsets your processing costs. You no longer have to worry about that large debit for processing fees at the end of the month.
